Opt-In Flow
Opt-In Verbal Commitment Example:
When scheduling an appointment at a Provider practice that partners with Vippy, a scheduling staff member will ask you for your communication preferences. For example:
“To help ensure you don't miss your upcoming appointments, we'd like to send you
appointment reminders via phone calls and text messages to this number.
These reminders will include:
- Your appointment date and time
- Location and room information
- Pre-appointment instructions
- Ability to confirm or reschedule your appointment
By saying 'YES', you consent to receive automated appointment reminder
calls and text messages at the phone number you provided.
Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting
STOP or updating your preferences in your patient portal.
Do you consent to receive appointment reminders?
”
If the patient says yes, the opt-in is collected by the Provider Practice and sent to Vippy Health. We only send messages to patients who opt-in!
With this approach, we ensure that you are fully informed and have agreed to receive communications in the way that suits you best. Your preferences matter to us, and we’re here to make your experience as seamless as possible.

At Vippy Health, we respect your communication preferences. You must opt-in verbally with your health provider for us to be able to send automated voice or sms messages. Also, you have the option to opt-out of receiving further communications from us at any time. Whether you prefer not to receive text messages or emails, we make it easy for you to manage your preferences.

How to Opt-Out:
-
Text Messages: Reply "STOP" to any text message you receive from us to stop receiving further texts.
-
Emails: Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email to remove yourself from our mailing list.

We are committed to ensuring that you only receive the communications you want. If you have any issues with opting out, please contact our support team, and we'll be happy to assist you.
